1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Go North Lights Inc. (NEQ 1190004567) ("Go North Lights," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our lottery ticket service available at gonorthlights.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To use Go North Lights services, you must meet ALL of the following requirements:

  • Be at least 19 years of age
  • Be a resident of Canada
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • Not be self-excluded from gambling services in any jurisdiction
  • Not be located in a jurisdiction where online lottery services are prohibited
  • Provide accurate and truthful information during registration

We reserve the right to verify your identity and age at any time. Failure to provide requested verification may result in account suspension or closure.

3. Account Registration and Security

Account Creation
  • You must create an account to use our services
  • One person may have only one account
  • All information provided must be accurate, current, and complete
  • You must update your information promptly if it changes
Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Ensuring you log out after each session on shared devices
Prohibited Account Activities

4. Lottery Ticket Purchases

Service Description

Go North Lights provides a platform to purchase official lottery tickets from licensed Canadian lottery corporations. We act as an intermediary service and do not operate our own lottery games.

Ticket Purchase Process
  1. Select your desired lottery game and numbers
  2. Confirm your selections and complete payment
  3. Receive confirmation of your purchase
  4. Physical tickets are purchased on your behalf by authorized retailers
  5. Digital copies of tickets are made available in your account
Important Ticket Rules
  • No Cancellations: Ticket purchases are final and cannot be cancelled, refunded, or modified after confirmation
  • Draw Deadlines: Tickets must be purchased before the official draw cutoff time
  • Ticket Validity: You are responsible for checking your tickets for accuracy immediately after purchase
  • Duplicate Tickets: We are not responsible if another player selects the same numbers

5. Payments and Deposits

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
  • Debit cards
  • Interac e-Transfer
  • Other approved payment methods
Deposit Requirements
  • Minimum deposit: $10 CAD
  • Maximum deposit: As determined by your account verification level

  • Third-party payments are not permitted
Fees and Charges
  • No deposit fees charged by Go North Lights
  • Your payment provider may charge their own fees
  • Service fees may apply to certain transactions (clearly disclosed)
  • All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD)

6. Winnings and Withdrawals

Prize Claims
  • Winning amounts are automatically credited to your account
  • You are notified of wins via email and account notification
  • Large prizes may require additional verification and identity confirmation
  • Prizes must be claimed within the timeframe set by the lottery corporation (typically 1 year)
Withdrawal Process
  • Minimum withdrawal: $20 CAD
  • Withdrawals processed to the same payment method used for deposit when possible
  • Processing time: 3-5 business days
  • Identity verification required before first withdrawal
  • Tax reporting requirements apply to large wins (per CRA regulations)
Unclaimed Prizes

If a prize remains unclaimed for 12 months, it will be forfeited according to lottery corporation rules. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you about unclaimed prizes.

7. Responsible Gaming

We are committed to promoting responsible gaming. Our tools include:

  • Deposit Limits: Set daily, weekly, or monthly limits
  • Session Time Limits: Set maximum session durations
  • Self-Exclusion: Temporarily or permanently exclude yourself

  • Reverse engineer or attempt to access our source code

Violation of these terms may result in account closure, forfeiture of funds, and legal action.

9. Limitation of Liability

No Warranties

Our services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Go North Lights shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Technical failures or service interruptions
  • Errors in lottery results (results determined by lottery corporations)
  • Third-party actions or services
Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or $100 CAD, whichever is greater.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

We May Suspend or Terminate Your Account If:
  • You violate these Terms
  • You provide false information
  • You engage in fraudulent activity
  • You are found to be under 19 years of age
  • Your account shows signs of problem gambling
  • Required by law or regulatory authority
Upon Termination:
  • Your account will be closed
  • Outstanding balances may be returned (minus any owed amounts)
  • Access to the service will be revoked
  • You may be permanently banned from creating new accounts
Voluntary Account Closure:

You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Remaining balance will be returned to you after verification.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on gonorthlights.com, including but not limited to:

  • Text, graphics, logos, images
  • Software, code, and functionality
  • Trademarks and service marks
  • Design and layout

...is the property of Go North Lights Inc. or our licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Dispute Resolution Process

  2. Formal Complaint: Submit a written complaint to our customer service
  3. Mediation: If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to mediation
  4. Arbitration: As a final resort, binding arbitration may be required
Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the website.

Your continued use of the service after changes constitute acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Miscellaneous

  • Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Go North Lights
  • No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right
  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights; we may assign ours to affiliates or successors
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control
