Responsible Gaming

Your wellbeing is our priority. Gaming should be fun, not a problem.

Our Commitment

At Go North Lights, we are dedicated to promoting safe, responsible gaming practices and providing tools to help you stay in control.

What is Responsible Gaming?

Responsible gaming means enjoying lottery games as a form of entertainment while maintaining control over the time and money you spend. It involves:

  • Playing within your financial means
  • Setting and respecting personal limits
  • Understanding that gaming is entertainment, not a way to make money
  • Recognizing when gaming stops being fun
  • Seeking help when you need it

Our Responsible Gaming Tools

We provide several tools to help you maintain control:

Deposit Limits

Set daily, weekly, or monthly limits on how much you can deposit. Once set, limits can only be increased after a 24-hour cooling-off period.

Session Time Limits

Set maximum session durations. You'll be reminded when your time limit is approaching and logged out when reached.

Reality Checks

Receive periodic reminders about how long you've been playing and how much you've spent during your session.

Take a Break

Temporarily suspend your account for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or longer. During this time, you won't be able to log in or play.

Self-Exclusion

Permanently close your account if you feel you need a complete break from gaming. This decision is final and cannot be easily reversed.

Activity History

Review your complete gaming history, including deposits, tickets purchased, and winnings, to track your spending patterns.

  • Feeling restless when not playing
  • Gaming to escape problems or stress
  • Neglecting work, family, or hobbies
  • Continuing despite negative consequences
Emotional Signs
  • Feeling guilty or ashamed about gaming
  • Becoming defensive when questioned
  • Experiencing mood swings related to wins/losses
  • Anxiety or depression when not gaming
  • Prioritizing gaming over relationships
Social Signs
  • Withdrawing from friends and family
  • Hiding gaming activities from loved ones
  • Conflicts with family about gaming
  • Losing interest in previously enjoyed activities
  • Isolation and secrecy
If you recognize these signs in yourself or a loved one, please seek help immediately.

Healthy Gaming Guidelines

Follow these principles for a positive gaming experience:

Set a Budget

Only play with money you can afford to lose. Never use money needed for rent, bills, or other essentials.

Set Time Limits

Decide in advance how long you'll play and stick to it. Don't let gaming interfere with work, sleep, or social activities.

Don't Chase Losses

Accept losses as part of the entertainment cost. Trying to win back losses often leads to bigger problems.

Take Regular Breaks

Step away regularly to maintain perspective. Gaming should be one of many enjoyable activities in your life.

Keep It Fun

If gaming stops being enjoyable and becomes stressful, it's time to take a break or seek help.

Balance Your Life

Maintain healthy relationships, hobbies, work, and other interests alongside gaming.

Underage Gaming Prevention

We strictly enforce our 19+ age requirement:

  • Age verification is mandatory during registration
  • Government-issued ID may be required
  • We use advanced verification systems to prevent underage access
  • Parents/guardians should monitor device usage
  • Report any suspected underage gaming immediately
Zero Tolerance: Underage accounts are immediately closed, and appropriate authorities may be notified.
